the most famous politician for me

As for me, the most famous politician is from England. When we study foreign languages, we should learn both language and culture, history. So, you can't imagine learning English without history of English. For me the most well-known politician is a man, who was named the Greatest Briton of all-the time in a 2002 poll. This person is Winston Churchill.
As i have said, he is the most famous British man, he was born in Blenheim Palace, not far from Woodstock in Oxfordshire. His father was a politician as well, his mother was an american businessman's daughter. Oh, i forgot to say that Winston Churchill was born in 1874.
I want to add, that we read information of him at first when we read about the Second Boyer War. But most of us know him as the 61st and the 63rd Prime Minister of Great Britain. Some days after his nomination as Prime Minister by King George IV (May 12, 1940) he said: " I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat" He made a major valuable contribution to win the Second World War effecting with other members of Allies.
After war, his popularity fell down and he failed the election. As a result he left politician career. But we know, that his Fluton Speech was a starting point of the Cold War.
Speaking of his personality, I want to add, that he was a writer as well. He wrote many selected works, that's why he won a Nobel Prize in literature in 1953. In short, if a person is talented, he will be talented in everything.Winston Churchill is an outstanding but at the same time he is an ambiguous person. So, i want to quote his speech:

"Everyday you make progress. every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path, You know you will never go to the end of the journey"
(Winston Churchill)
